Skiing

Evy LOVED it!  She giggled the whole was down the hill and could stop and turn so well!
It was a little windy and chilly, but the sun was shinning most of the day and it had snowed the night before.  It was a perfect day to skip school and go skiing!
Jensen picked up right where he left off last year.  He said he wants to be an Olympic skier when he grows up.  The only part he was nervous about being a professional skier, he said, is that he would have to be on TV.
Papa and Ryley on the lift
Next time we want to go by ourselves so we can actually ski!  We did get to take a couple of runs with just me and my mom and it felt great.  Thanks for all the babysitting in the lodge Mom and Dad!  Eugene was a good baby... most of the time.
Ryley skis so fast now, that I never could catch up to her to get a picture of her actually skiing.  I could only catch her on the chair.  She's a speedy Ryley!
My mom and dad got a go pro camera and we had fun skiing around, looking like a teletubby.  I still haven't seen the videos, but I imagine there a lot of footage of my front teeth, saying, "is it on?  did I push the right button?  did I turn it off right?"

Happy 4th Birthday Evelyn!

We had a polar bear theme and we read polar bear bedtime stories and ate polar bear cake.  I crocheted little polar bear ears out of yarn and stuck them on some cheap head bands.  I thought it was funny.  They look so cute.  Lots of fun friends to celebrate with us!

Misc

Jack Frost on our window.  It's been so cold here this winter!
 Eugene, hanging out with Papa.
Evy got a hair cut, and loves it!  She's been bugging me to cut her hair since I got mine cut before Eugene was born.
She still loves feeding the baby.
He definitely has blue eyes.  The patch of hair on top is getting a little bolder too.
A big old pine tree fell down in the middle of the night last week during some freezing rain.  It was super loud and woke us all up.  It scraped along the building a little bit, but luckily no windows were broken or anything.  The entrance to the building was totally blocked!  Crazy!

Hiking

Ryley, the work horse, pulling the sleigh.  Her and Jensen wore their ski helmets this time to avoid further concussions on the ice!

A Beautiful day for a trail run!

Big Snow Year in Baltimore!

Sometimes I dream of the day when my kids will have some place to play besides the parking lot.
