Overdue

Well, here's a belly shot right here at the end.  I ended up going one whole week overdue.  The last week we had a scare and the baby was breech for a few days, but he flipped over the right way on his own.  I did a lot of weird exercises that I found online to make the baby flip and apparently it worked.  I also got a drastic haircut.  For some reason I just felt like it.

Miscellaneous

 The kids are enjoying school and doing well!

 Ryley had a Glow-in-the-Dark-Daddy-Daughter-Date at the Stake Center.

 Evelyn enjoys her daily ride on the balance bike with her buddy Sage to the park and the bus stop.

 Daddy took first place in the Stake 5K race.  His prize was an XXL Ravens T-shirt.  Jensen uses it as a night shirt.

 Ryley is as artistic as always.

 We had fun at Casper's First Birthday Party in D.C.

These girls are too cute together. 

Zoo

 For our preschool field trip we went to the Baltimore Zoo.  There's 4 girls and one lonely boy in the group.  They're a fun group of kids and they get along really well.

 We walked around from 10am to 3pm and I tried my hardest to induce labor.  Nothing.  I suppose I'm being impatient.  My due date isn't until Oct. 12th.
 

 The baby goats were the cutest thing!  I wanted to take one home.

Camping

 We decided that the kids needed to go camping before the season was over.  The weather was perfect.  Playing with fire is the best activity.  The kids had a blast.

 "Mommy, can we go to bed now!!"  This boy loves sleeping in the tent.

 Mommy was a little bit miserable.  I had a bad sinus cold, not to mention being 8 1/2 months pregnant.  I usually love camping.  This may have been the first time I had a hard time enjoying the experience.  I decided I really need to get an air mattress.

Birthdays

 Daddy had a birthday!  We made a chocolate cheesecake with raspberries on top, especially for him.  We won't mention how old he's getting, but I think he still looks pretty good.


Ryley turned 9 this year!  We had a picnic birthday party on the lawn in front of our apartment (after we cleaned up all the dog poop from lazy people).  We went with a unicorn theme since she had picked out a unicorn cake that she wanted to make.  So the kids colored unicorn pictures for the activity.

 Mommy had to make the cake, so of course it didn't turn out as well as Daddy's cakes.  It's a unicorn ok.  I tried.  Ryley liked it and that's all that mattered.

Annie's Playground

 This is every kid's dream playground.  Kind of a hike to get there, but it's worth the trip.

 Evy is saving Ryley from the fiery dragon in the dungeon below.

 The tire swing is definitely a favorite.

 It's so cute when they hold hands.

It was a hot day and I thought I might go into labor just from the heat.  Kids don't seem to mind.
