More uncle Jared fun

 Cooking with uncle Jared.  He's an amazing chef.  Gnochi with alfredo and pesto rosemary sauce.  Delectable.

 Happy Birthday Mom!  We made Jumbleberry pie, went to the Planes movie, ate at Joe's Crab shop, went to the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra outdoor concert, and visited the D.C. temple all in one weekend.

 I got my mom a piano for her birthday.  OK, so my neighbor just happened to be moving and giving away her piano that day to anyone who would haul it out.  Worked out nicely.  Jared put on a little concert in the back of the pick-up truck.  Jared also wrote a song while he was staying with us.  Ryley wrote the lyrics and Jared put it to music.  That boy is amazing.

We were so sad to have Jared go back to school.  We'll miss him.

Back to School

 Ryley is in 3rd grade now and Jensen is in 1st.  You can kind of tell Jensen just woke up.  He's not the early riser like Ryley.  We're going to have an adjustment time to waking up early again.

 She sure loves having mommy to herself again though.  We play at the park all day!

 She's really getting good at riding her big girl bike now! I have to ride on my roller blades to keep up with her.  Fun for mommy too, although I look a little funny with my prego belly sicking out there.

Swimming Pool

 Labor Day.  The last day for the swimming pool before it closes.  It turned out to be one of the hottest days and perfect for swimming.  Plus, grandma and papa Jensen got to be there! 

 The green sea turtle we got at an end of season sale.  Bonus.

Hiking

 Evelyn is obsessed with caterpillars.  This one was exceptionally cool looking.

My friend Autumn came with her two kids, plus I was babysitting my neighbor's 2 girls that day, so between us we had 7 kids.  Quite the group.  Thank goodness I had Jared's help.  Did I mention that we love uncle Jared?

 Jared decided to brave the ice cold water and take a swim.  Ryley of course would not be out done and joined him as well.
